So some idiot in a pickemup truKK rolled into my front fender trashed the headlight, fender and the side of the front bumper the impact was at idle, so its all cosmetic damage. Considering i cant even see tesla service for accident repair until oct 3, i went and found a headlight on ebay...

it is possible, but you have to be going downhill for some extended amount of miles.

i had negative 200ish today going 20 miles down the mountain, but ive had as low as 161 on a short ride home.

if you notify within the first 100 miles after delivery they will waive it you just have to remind them its within the timeframe. they sent me 0 estimate to approve, with stipulation there is no evidence of damage (curbed wheels, bent rim etc)

i like the idea of the buttons but the app does more. the buttons are grossly over priced unfortunately.

found this app today and this was in the functions list.....you can use your watch as a key also, and the phone app has premade siri commands that work fantastically.

tons of possibilities. it could be used for rideshare for people that dont know how to use the handle its convenient if someones hands are full (family or friends getting to your car) if the other drivers door was too frozen, etc etc etc

So im guessing there is no third party support for this feature?

i think it is possible...unless i read it wrong. i know it was rolled out with a SW update in response to frozen door handles. i have a model 3 so i never paid attention if the Y has that too, considering its nearly the same car

i had a bmw 5 series with the upgraded steering rack in it, and it took me 3x to align that thing right. i printed out the specs and i would check regularly and compare and adjust so i only had to do it once. some cars have more tolerance than others needing more precision.

for sure they are. service was great today, they took it right in priority (cars been in service 6 times now....2x at shop for this an a mobile viist, and 3x for an alignment and thats still not even fully taken care of yet.) i usually take the uber credits to get home as i have a 30 year old...

without a doubt ill change it back, already did. not for argument but the monitor, while it "controls" things it is not the cpu processing anything, its just a point of contact between the driver and the cars BCM and other modules. the BCMs execute the simple commands from the touch...

the monitor isnt the CPU though, its just an input device.
