So some idiot in a pickemup truKK rolled into my front fender
trashed the headlight, fender and the side of the front bumper
the impact was at idle, so its all cosmetic damage.
Considering i cant even see tesla service for accident repair until oct 3, i went and found a headlight on ebay for now......
PRIOR to replacement
1. i used to get the message that says headlight malfunction, now i dont
2. wipers stopped working (because tesla dumb in how they wire wipers to the headlamps the way they do)
AFTER replacement i still have the same issues
I used the module from my old headlamp (no damage in the area of it, damage was in the back and plastic cover).
yes its the same type of headlight, as mine is the newer 21+ headlamp
I reinstalled SW, and it failed due to no communication.
any ideas? harness wasnt even messed with, so not sure why theres no comm.
