Make progress yet. I'm in TX and interested in Tesla wrap also. Only issue seems you need to have the delivered CT in your account on phone, to then shop and buy, then schedule the wrap it seems... and I'm pretty sure there will be some wait there.

I have two 200 amp panels so we split with 2 gateways. Had to evenly split solar and 2 power walls on each system. Wished could have had one system though.

Actually saw this figure the other day. $80K in the 70s would be about $298K today.

Just to add to this thread, got a new universal wall charger here today, few months later. It does NOT have the PowerShare logo on the glass (at least like the one line in pics) but they confirmed it should still be bidirectional. Sure hope so.

Agree, that's the reason for GAP insurance. Probably a key thing for some Tesla owners to have if they purchased at high prices with a high value loan.

Following this thread and similar. We have Tesla Solar as 2 systems, 2 v2 gateways, 2 PWs on each, and solar split across each. I mainly want to be able to back up one side in particular at least. Seems excited as reading this, all need to have is the bidirectional universal charger running...

Yeah no USS on front doors anymore, just FWDs. The drivers door just opens now enough to grab and pull open yourself the rest of way. Still closes with brake press at least.

For me, PowerShare is the key thing. Already have the rest of it to take advantage of it.

Any thought to if they will be adding PowerShare capability to the X (and likely S) here very soon, versus 2025?

Our neighbors all said we had about a 2 second outage last night but we had a report of a 9 minute outage before our PWs said the grid was back and reconnected tk use grid energy. Is this normal behavior? In short outages do the PWs wait a while for the grid to me reliably on before switching...

If the grid goes down. They literally in the gateway disconnect physically so I’d say in that scenario they are isolated. Not if precharging for an event though.

I think you were not supposed to file until the PRO date year. But either way yes you just have to file an amended return.

Can't wait still, install is on 5/16 Powerwalls (1 day) and 5/17-5/20 Solar (4 days) soon. Been waiting since about October 2021 here.

PW+ also has a limit of 4 powerwalls totally right now. Could get updated in future.

I’d also say in Winter you will produce less and as panels degrade over the years so your ratio of use will improve over time.

Ah just wait until u can provide all pics of panel, roofline, AC units, etc. if doing panels. They will do a site visit assessment (or two) as well. We started ours as soon as I could get all those pics done. The electric bill can be an old one or just estimate if ya need.
