Thank you for your comments about Supercharging. I have had Tesla check our battery’s condition more than once and they reported there were no discernible problems with it. I am solidly convinced that Tesla deliberately throttles back the charging power to discourage us from using Superchargers...
We have a 2015 Model S 90 and the charging rate is abysmally slow. It starts off about 98 and then quickly drops to 40 at 80% charge and then keeps dropping to eventually 5. It’s really impossible to get much charge above 80%
The Tesla App is really bad news especially for charging info. When we drive away from Palm Springs and get 100 miles down the road, the App still shows the Superchargers and Destination Chargers that showed when we were in PALM SPRINGS! Even if you check current location still shows old...
Aren’t you able to use any third party chargers like EV Go and ChargePoint? Tesla is supposed to be listing them as charging stations on the navigation app.
I have spoken to the responsible person at city hall. It’s obvious he’s clueless about charging EV’s. Closing off the entire section where the Tesla chargers are was a gross over reaction. The street in question is nowhere near the chargers. Typical bureaucratic CYA. Left up to this guy might...
The City engineers are investigating whether the street over the parking garage has a structural defect. They asked Tesla to shut down the chargers. They told me their work could take months. Call this guy at the City and complain. 760 322-8339. When I spoke to him he sounded totally oblivious...
Our 2015 Model S 90 came with Michelin 19 inch tires and the ride was not very comfortable. We just replaced them with Cooper Ultra Touring and the ride is so much better. Now it rides more like our Model 3!
This is a premier supercharger location. It’s underground out of the sun. The garage elevator takes you up right into the middle of downtown Palm Springs with plenty of shopping and dining.
We have had our M3 in Palm Springs and the glass roof really heats up the interior even though we had dark tint applied. The black seats don’t help either.
The Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage has four Tesla destination chargers in their garage. We were there for an event and just happened to notice them.
