In the Model S, the larger battery configurations have faster 0-60MPH times. Is there any reason to believe this won't also be the case with the Model 3? Low 5s or high 4s 0-60MPH with a 75KWH battery would be great.

It's possible that this is true. Now that I think of it, only the front seats were perforated. The back seats were solid, maybe because it's a more common seating place for kids? Cup holders pretty much eliminate drink spills for adults.

Now that I think of it, most gas-powered cars already get about 350 miles per tank without having to upgrade anything at thousands of dollars of expense. This car is starting to look like a money pit after all... the exact opposite of what it was envisioned to be.

I have no idea about the costs involved, but as a consumer of a $35k car I wouldn't expect the larger battery to add more than a couple thousand dollars to get me to 300 miles of range.

I think the opposite will prove to be true. Some younger folks might have $1000 lying around for an impulse buy on a refundable reservation, but won't be able to go through with the payments on a $35k+ (plus taxes and delivery charges) vehicle.
