Ordered 2/15. Added tow 4/5. VIN by email 7/20. Texas. White/White LR with tow. Trading in X 60D with AP2 ,6 seat. Blue/white with 31k miles. Tesla offered $50,900 trade in. Far and above anyone else.

    Model X 60D holdouts?

If you had your X in September then you have AP1. AP2 has cameras on each front fender and on each pillar behind each front door. Very unlikely you have AP2

    Model X 60D holdouts?

Yep. All enhanced features are active including Navigate on Autopilot. I bet there's not enough of us to bother to restrict it.

    Model X 60D holdouts?

We paid for AP1 but, due to delaying the order, we got AP2. We were offered a chance to upgrade to enhanced but declined. We have had all enhanced features from day 1. The my account page offers us to upgrade to Autopilot for $3000 and FSD for $6000. It's almost like we don't have Autopilot at all.

    Model X 60D holdouts?

We have a X 60D with AP2...unicorn of sorts. The option to upgrade the battery disappeared from the account page. Are we alone or is it the same for all?

    Confirm PUP $5000 refund thread

It's hard to compare prices then and now. I paid $78k for my red model 3 Performance with upgrade. I got $5k refund and already received the $7500 tax credit. That's Ann effective $65,500. A new one is $67500. That does include FSD while I only have enhanced autopilot. Again hard to compare...

Do you have bent 20" wheels on your Model 3?

My Previous car was a BMW i3. I had 19s. Owners with 20s complained of way more wheel and tire issues than the 19s. I'll likely be getting some other wheel and tire combo in time.

Clunk sound and feel while charging

That's the word I was thinking of...contactor! You'd think I'd know the name as I hear them every time I fly. Thanks. Hopefully it's just abnormal but not an issue. Won't bring it in until I have to for service.

Clunk sound and feel while charging

Model X owner for 19 months. 3 owner for a week. Twice while supercharging the 3 I've heard and felt a clunk by the throttle. It happens around 70%. From my aviation world It is similar to when I change power sources. Like a connector opening or closing. Anyone else have this? The X has never...

Loose Grounding Cable caused all kinds of odd issues

I like forums as they are useful to share experiences and solve problems. Some felt I was complaining when I was only trying to share my experience. It's been an interesting week for Tesla in our house. The X was supposed to have mobile service fix the door latches. Five days later nothing...

Loose Grounding Cable caused all kinds of odd issues

My Model 3 is back home. Short recap. Picked it up last Thursday. Noticed something moving in the trunk when opening and closing. Sent an email to the delivery team with that and a few minor paint issues. Saturday I washed the car. I had the trunk open for a while drying. The trunk wouldn't...

The paint is minor. If the spot wasn't under the paint I could live with the rest. It's a car not a work of art. They are coming to tow it on Monday. They offered today, but it's late and the SC is closed till Monday anyway. Hopefully it's a quick fix and I can get it back Tuesday or...

Not yet. The windows on the passenger side don't work at all. The driver's side work fine. Very odd behavior. The only thing I noticed that changed was on delivery there wasv something rolling around in the trunk lid on opening and closing. That has ceased. No more rolling around sound when...

I did call Tesla. I shared with the group in hoping someone else had a similar parking brake issue and knew of a fix. We are an EV household. We've had an X for 19 months. We've had a LEAF and I3. Currently have a Smart Electric commuter. Picked up my 3 Performance at 3:30 on Thursday. Drove it home and it sat. Friday I drove a little bit. Saturday was paint and detail day. Did everything in my driveway or...

For DFW deliveries. My car was scheduled to BE READY today (9/26) at noon. Yadda, yadda, yadda it arrived today at 10:15AM. They need 48 hours to prep the car so I was re-rescheduled for 9/28 at 10:15 AM. The first reschedule was 9/30 at 9:30 AM. At least I know my car is on the ground.

Anyone buy P3D+ and have no plans on tracking?

I only did the Performance Upgrade as I wanted nicer wheels than aeros, a spoiler and red brakes. The package was easier than buying a new set of tires and wheels, getting the brakes painted , buying a spoiler and trying to sell the aeros. This is my fun car. My commuter car is the slowest...

Decent finance rates - San Antonio Area

Do you have CUTX in the area? They rate match. I got 1.99 for 72 by matching 1.99 for 60 at Dallas credit Union. You need 750+ credit score.

    Let's talk financing rates

This is going to be a narrow section of buyer's but I got 2.49 for 72 from Sky One Federal Credit Union (aviation employees) and 1.99 for 72 from Credit Union of Texas. Credit Union of Texas will rate match. I used Dallas Credit Unions 1.99 for 60 as a match case. Painless.
