Here's an update. After 4 days, the tech said this is an "official" issue and they will be working on a software fix to correct the problem. For now, I'm unplugging my car when it stops charging. I don't want the car starting a charge every 12 minutes.

I think I was mistaken. I have a camera set up in my garage and it records the screen on as motion. I think the camera was not working correctly when I asked the question. I saw a bunch of events last night, so I agree the issue is still there.

Are people still having this issue? When I'm at home, I can hear when my charger starts. It's still starting approx. every hour if it is plugged in. I'm worried all the starting and stopping charging is going to damage something.

I'm not seeing it. They changed the speed limit on one of our roads a few weeks ago, so that's the one I use to test. I'm on 2018.10.4 and running AP2 on my Model X.

I was there last night around 8:45. There were 5 of us charging. I got between 105kw and 110kw the entire time. Arrived with 15%, left with over 60%. This was the first time I've seen more than 50kw at the charger. Hopefully this means it's getting better.

I charged there yesterday afternoon. I arrived at about 40% and charged to about 80%. It charged at 51KW the entire time. I was in the stall all the way to the right (next to the handicapped spot). This is the highest I've seen at this SC.

I did 1,000 miles in my X 90D in July 2017 (Maryland to Florida). I started at 100% and stopped every time the nav told me to. Never charged to 100%, since going from 85% to 100% takes longer than the rest of the charge. Plan on stopping for 35 to 45 minutes per stop.

I'm thinking there is something wrong with my HPWC. I can reset it to 72A when I get home, and it immediately changes to 54A when I plug in. If I do a reset of the charger before I plug it in, the car will charge at 72A. It jumps back down to 54A a day or so later.

I have a 90D. My home charger is on a 100 amp line with the max charge at 72 amps. I have been charging at 72 amps since I got the car. I noticed today that is was only charging at 54 amps? Any idea why this would change?
