For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

The difference between MS and MS Plaid was 15k, so feels like this just aligns with that pricing.

What outstanding issues to expect on a MX today?

If I recall the full context, the driver was loading something in the trunk, was taking a step toward the front door and they had the auto present on which detected him near and flew open. 😅

What outstanding issues to expect on a MX today?

Personally, I think it not opening wide is fine. I do wish it disengaged the motors faster. As cool as it is for it to open wide for you, I've seen a few videos where the Xs were parallel parked, and it can easily open wide and smack into oncoming traffic, so I'd rather it just be a smoother...

    My MX delivery

That’s a required fee on all cars regardless where you pick up unfortunately.

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

That spreadsheet is all off these days. I just didn't bother fixing that. Doubt anyone knows the production start/end date officially without explicitly asking.

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

@awd_rails Picked up and it's an October build for my MXP VIN 418xxx. Panel alignment is solid, everything else looks pretty good. There is some excess material from some of the seals on the passenger side C pillar near the trunk, but overall I'm very pleased with the quality, especially...

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Yea, I wouldn’t mind if the Plaid went back up to 120k after I took delivery 😝
  8. YellowJacketMS

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

Nothing lol. But I haven't seen anyone post 419s yet, so these are the latest builds. I think I remember seeing 416 or 417s with mid-late Sept build dates. I'm guessing these are either tail end of Sept, or like October 1-2 build dates.

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

Looks like the latest Plaid VIN assignments are likely already built. I didn't have the delivery date set yet, but I just texted them and asked if I could pickup at the factory instead of Sunnyvale and they said the car is ready tomorrow if I want to come to the factory. I know @awd_rails is...

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I think this is probably the reason. Wouldn't be surprised to see them jack up prices again for refreshed M3.
  11. YellowJacketMS

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Yea, I imagine it all adds up - bigger battery, FWDs, air suspension, motorized front doors etc. Not even including the extra assembly labor time.

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

Did anyone notice the pricing breakdown is 70k for Model X and $19,999 for Plaid option? I guess it's easier to adjust the base price than the options?
  13. YellowJacketMS

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

Nice. Seems a bunch of us are probably in the same batch. My EDD just updated to an even tighter window now. 10/6-10/13.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

I'm going to drive over to ngng and ask him to help me then once I take delivery 😆

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

Surprised you don't have a VIN yet. My window just tightened up from what yours was to 10/5-10/14 now.

I didn't go double check, but are people getting assigned VINs with order dates 9/5?

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

You should have seen the forums during Covid. 1 year waits. They really bonded. We're here for like 3 weeks 😆

Tesla drops prices on X/S $20k. All colors free. Bye bye resale

Always reminds me of if Robocop transformed into a car. But I gotta hand it to them, inside fit and finish is pretty nice.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

No you will get whatever the credit is in 2024 which could be lower or the same depending if Tesla meets the new 2024 requirements for full credit.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Guy was posting every day and now mysteriously gone 🤔. Probably having too much fun driving.
  23. YellowJacketMS

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

Feels like they are prioritize assigning one’s furthest away on the east coast first and a sprinkle of some near the factory.
  24. YellowJacketMS

For non-inventory Model X Plaid orders placed in September 2023, what is your estimated delivery date range?

I don’t think we will see 2024s until November VIN assignments. That seemed like the timing last year. European bound ones were getting the VINs in October, but for US based November.

lol, it’s going to just keep moving that first date up every day no VIN is assigned unless it reaches 23rd first. 😆
  28. YellowJacketMS

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Yes, but the previous issue was that people were seeing DMV using 140k msrp for the Plaid as the registration fee basis. So the fees were $300-400 more I think.
  29. YellowJacketMS

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Thanks for the data point. That sounds promising that CA DMV has updated.
  30. YellowJacketMS

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Wondering if they are still using the MSRP from last year at the CA DMVs? Anyone that took delivery recently confirm the amount?

Just checked mine and it is updated from 10/5-11/9 -> 10/2 - 10/20. MXP Ultra Red. Looks like a batch of Plaids coming soon.
  33. YellowJacketMS

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Was this a new build? I thought Conti A/S were the factory tires.

My guess is because consumers are viewing them more like smartphones versus traditional vehicles.
