No, we got that plate for # 227 soon after he arrive in April of 2009. He wore it until the end. We will be working to get it replaced and transferred to our P100D.

The click problem appears to have totally cleared up. I am know able to reliably click either slowly or quickly without any double clicks resulting. It appears that the browser size is know somewhat less in height than the previous browser as the bottoms of the details and graph boxes are off...

First quick test of ABRP on V9. Browser itself seems somewhat quicker and more responsive but I am having great difficulty with clicking in ABRP. Each click appears to be handled as 2 clicks about a second apart. Shows then immediately hides, starts planning then immediately cancels planning...

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

Yes, that is the one I got. Order before today to get the $1,500 price and an expedited delivery and then as of today those colors are only available of-menu limited edition at $2,000. No end date stated for the limited edition. As I see it this limited edition color status allows them to only...

Interesting. That wording is definitely not in the email I received so once again it looks like communications change by the day. When did you receive that email?

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

From where was that quote? The email I received from Tesla was what I quoted and it had no end date.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

But they didn't actually drop the colors they just called them "limited edition" and raised the price of them. Following quote is from their notification email.

TSLA Market Action: 2018 Investor Roundtable

As stated these are not "hard to do" multi-coat colors, these are standard metallic colors. According to the following quote from the email they are not actually being discontinued but are in-fact being moved to "limited edition" additional cost status so just another margin increase.

    Supercharger - Fort Stockton, Texas

Is there any indication that this location will enforce towing? I have been at superchargers from coast to coast and I don't recall ever seeing any that are marked for towing enforcement. In fact many of the locations have half of the stalls marked as general parking with some time limit.

What is the size of your TSLA portfolio ?

I expect the top of this range will insufficient for only the 202? Roadster with SpaceX package. You are already far past that point with the original Roadster, a P100D, an X100 and a P3!

    FSD price increase disincentive

Not sure where you are seeing $4,000. I can still add it to my 2 Model 3 configs for $3K just like I did for my P100D. Adding it after the fact has gone up to $5,000 so for me the incentive to add it now has gone up!

    Thoughts about Autopilot 2.0

I did no name calling. FUD is a very clearly defined acronym for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. This seems like a perfect fit to the type of posts I am referring to. Calling out posted FUD is not name calling. We all know that Tesla is working hard at ramping up the Model 3 assembly line and...

    Thoughts about Autopilot 2.0

So since you no longer have loyalties to Tesla you have a need to post hundreds of posts on this forum slamming AP2 with over the top statements? Based on my personal experience your statements are so exaggerated they have always appeared to me to be obvious FUD. By the way what other car...

    Thoughts about Autopilot 2.0

I am not the one that posted hundred of posts bad mouthing AP2. I posted one post stating the amount of my experience on both AP2 and AP1 and how I feel about it. Hardly an agenda. Yes, my AP2 car can certainly do a much better job of staying consistently positioned in the lane over a 12 to 14...

    Thoughts about Autopilot 2.0

@calisnow, I congratulate you on all your effort in fighting all the AP2 FUD which a few posters seem to have made it their full time jobs in spreading! Based on my actual experience I have long ago decided to ignore them since most of their statements are so far removed from the facts of my...

    charging slow at Superchargers

This is my experience as well. With over 15,000 miles of Supercharging charging this year at stations from coast to coast and from Northern PA to the southern tip of FL, I can have a pretty good idea of my expected charge rate just by looking at how scuffed up the connectors are. Old worn...

Adding destination charging to an overnight stop is having no effect. It forces me to charge enough at the prior supercharger to get to the next supercharger after the overnight stop.

    Supercharger network needs work

This exactly mirrors my testing over 6000 miles of supercharger based travels during June and July this summer. This was with a newly delivered P100D. During much of this time we charged at many locations with temperatures over 100* with one stop as high as 120*. I identified two different hot...

    2017 Investor Roundtable:General Discussion

Not picking on you, but I am not really understanding all this anguish about preventing access to the trunk! I have never used a cab/Uber/Lyft where I did not have access to the trunk and in many cases for me it would be a requirement. If you want to be part of Tesla Network do not leave...

Auto lane change "randomly" refusing to work

I agree with your list and would just add the obvious one of nothing detected by the side sensors. This will also include a delay of several seconds after the side sensors no longer show anything after passing a vehicle so I am not sure if they are using rear camera or just a delay. I would...

Auto lane change "randomly" refusing to work

101 like a number of other highways in California has many areas that are limited access but it also has sections that are not limited access. I did find a few cases also where the database used by Tesla had not been updated to reflect some sections that had been upgraded to limited access. I...

Missing Interstate Supercharger links on Tesla Planned Location map?

Since giving Tesla the first of numerous quite large payments over 10 years ago, I am painfully aware of both Tesla Time and Elon Optimism. ;) When the last map was launched I figured someone just went through and filled in every possible gap and called it a day. :) Given the number they claim...

Auto lane change "randomly" refusing to work

With AP1 or AP2? OP has AP2 and I am speaking to my experience with AP2.
  34. D

Auto lane change "randomly" refusing to work

It is not based only on what autopilot shows (sees) it is based on the mapping data that autopilot uses. You can only do auto lane change if the highway is identified as "limited access" in the database. In my recent trips there it stood out to me how many roads in California transition back and...

Missing Interstate Supercharger links on Tesla Planned Location map?

When Tesla launched the latest version of the Supercharger Map with the gray markers for all the planned locations it looked like they had done a great job of filling all the Interstate gaps. Having experienced travel with my Roadster from before the supercharger was even a dream this map is...

    charging slow at Superchargers

This is consistent with my findings after completing over 6000 miles of supercharger travel in the past month and a half. During the hottest times I had some success with cooling of the handle providing better duration of higher charge rates but found that the more worn the handle the more...

2017 Investor Roundtable: TSLA Market Action

Tesla made rather effective use of curtains in areas. Also wouldn't be able to say much about it. Yes, so a significant amount of assembly is indeed on one shared line.

2017 Investor Roundtable: TSLA Market Action

Not sure what your definition of different production lines is, but I am sure that the line I saw less than 2 weeks ago had an X between each S.

    charging slow at Superchargers

Only that it worked best with what I had to work with and it felt that the top of the handle was the hottest. Also cold air sinks and with the cold pack molded somewhat to the handle and in contact with the metal plate seemed to get the best thermal transfer. Part of the heat issue seemed to be...

    charging slow at Superchargers

Well, I was going to keep my findings under wrap until I have molded handle cover containers made but I guess it is too late now. Who needs dry ice, almost every supercharger stop has an ice machine somewhere close by.
  41. D

    charging slow at Superchargers

Yes, I have tried this on a recent road trip during which the temperature was well over 100 to as high as 120 degrees while charging. I was seeing very quick drop from 110kW in charge rate to the 45 kW to 65kW range and in these cases the handles were so hot that you could barely touch them...

It wasn't Death Valley, but I had no problem keeping cool while driving 80 mph across Arizona last week when the temperature hit 123 degrees. Also no problem supercharging at Quartzite at 120 degrees.

Can you keep the 12V outlets on when the car is off?

Thank you for this! Sadly the "No serviceable relays in Cabin Fusebox" heading means it probably isn't as simple as pulling a relay and plugging in a jumper like it was in the original box.

Can you keep the 12V outlets on when the car is off?

I performed the 12v supply hack on my early Signature S a few years ago and planned to do it on my new Model S. Unfortunately the new Model S (April delivery) has a totally different fuse box that looks nothing like that picture so no go on that hack. I don't know when they switched and what...

It would make sense to me that they are looking for data for the 90D/P90D as that these models are not yet in their drop down list.
