    90D owner - 275miles max, should I "upgrade"?

Hi it was right in the middle of the KBB private party range....

    90D owner - 275miles max, should I "upgrade"?

Hi My 90D Model S (2.5HW with FSD upgrade) is 4 years old and now records 275 max miles after starting at 293. I am somewhat concerned that if I hold on to the vehicle the max range will continue to degrade until the limited range becomes a significant inconvenience for the occasional trips I...

Holding The Steering Wheel? More like Wildly Waggling it

Hi A recent firmware update rendered autopilot vastly better than previously. As a result i've been using it more. What's not changed however is the incredibly irritating hold the steering wheel nags and the effort required to dismiss them. Let me state - I understand why they are there - and...

    Slacker radio stuttering?

Hi On here to report the same things as above. Streaming music has become simple non-viable over the last few weeks with constant loading errors and pauses. Has there been anything from Tesla on this? (I am going to contact them myself also) Thanks

    2017.28 c528869

Why not? Seems sensible to me - they're not everyday, and it helps people find out more easily what's new etc. I too received the update last night and am intrigued to see if people perceive any new stuff..

    17.26.76

Definitely not the 'silky smooth' update I was expecting. In fact, so far, a regression: - like others, weird stuff going with speed limits - this morning starting speeding to highway speeds in a 40mph zone as i drove under an underpass - seems *more* uncertain on the highway i travel on most...

    Electric costs compare with petrol...

Thanks for the responses, for sure I didn't appreciate the significant disparity in electric costs through the country. Regarding the survey above - my state is sitting not so pretty at number 50 :(

    Electric costs compare with petrol...

Thanks. Congrats on your incredibly cheap electricity by the way. I am using efficiency rather loosely above, that is true, but I'm not really confused - the thrust of my post is obviously comparing costs to travel between my car and an ICE car and finding that there was relatively little...

    Electric costs compare with petrol...

Hi I'm not sure there's a question here, but i thought i'd print some calcs i've done regarding electric costs and equivalent petrol costs. I think the numbers are right, but clever folk might see a flaw or two: According to my Model S 90D I've done 2863 miles consuming 1198kWh in the process...

What do I have to do to beat remaining miles!?

Right - I get that. However i was only stopped for 4/5 hours so probably less then a mile of vampire drain. I think the answer is as above in that my 300 assumption is wrong for the 90D. Thamks

What do I have to do to beat remaining miles!?

Just saw last response above mine - yes I was referring to the indication on the dashboard by the battery (I know the energy app is different). Thank you, so this explains it. My car is a 90D. So from my drive then the number is a few less than 279. Wow - tough to consistently get that. This...

What do I have to do to beat remaining miles!?

Hi I'm referring to the mileage shown on the dashboard by the battery indicator not the projected mileage in the energy app (I know that's a different thing altogether) My understanding is that the dashboard distance calculation is essentially just a proxy for energy remaining in the battery...

What do I have to do to beat remaining miles!?

Yes, i made a stop in the middle. On the way out i think i recorded something like 265, can't quite remember - but don't remember what the remaining mileage said. On the way back, consumed 287W/mi for 37.5 miles.

What do I have to do to beat remaining miles!?

Hi I drove 74.5 miles yesterday and was very happy to see a consumption of 20.7KWh and 279Wh/mile reported - my best figures easily for a trip. No doubt the unseasonably warm Easter really helped. I started the trip at 210 miles remaining and ended up with 132 miles remaining - a difference...

    Autosteer - Nervewracking!

OBX John - good point there, though perhaps slightly perverse! Lane markings were absolutely fine ( i do find it mystifying how AS is not able to hold the lanes better actually). The road itself is certainly not long/flat - there are few turns and a few shallow ups and downs but it's not...

    Autosteer - Nervewracking!

Hi 90D AP2 owner here. i'm having trouble reconciling my unabashed affection for the car + admiration for Tesla with performance of Autosteer. Since the latest update I've driving with it on (as much as possible) in a fairly lengthy stretch of CT-15 at around 60 - a parkway crossing Southern...

    New Summon Beta

I tried this last night and am in agreement with OP. It doesn't seem to turn the slightest bit so you have to make sure you are perfectly lined up before executing - you spend way more time doing that then actually just parking the car + you get to fret as your car backs up! Until it can...

    Seatbelt Buckle Positioning

Thanks for responses, looks like it's not just me. It's not seat positioning because my passengers have had the same issues on various seat positions. It's funny to watch them struggle in surprise. As Haxster says above there is a bit of a technique which is to push on one side, basically...

    Seatbelt Buckle Positioning

Hi Took delivery of a Model S last Friday (budget be damned) - amazing vehicle. I have a couple of issues that i need service attention on (automatic wiping mode always on and door trim is misaligned) but my question to this forum is about the seat buckle position: I have never been in a...
