I have to agree with Ostrichsak on trade offers given by tesla, I just recently tried to trade a 2012 S85 and they only offered 18K but they would sell if for 27 to 29K

depending on the age of your S it may have a manual release. my 12 has a manual release in the passenger foot well open it and then try reclosing. I just had to deal with the same problem last week
