You're right, there probably won't be another influx of P85D's since most of those lease returns have already come back in and have been resold. Sure you can find P85D's for sale looking around online, but to get one from Tesla as a used/CPO vehicle... it seems like those days are gone.

It's because it's a California car that no longer qualifies for HOV carpool lane stickers. Tons of these "cheap" P85Ds with no issues located in California will sell for cheap due to a lack of interest.

I think it depends on how much you want to spend. Depending on that, we'll also be able to give your both our shared experiences and view viewpoints will ensure you get the most car for your money and a great deal.

The numbers of worth come from dealership trade in values as a range. The Tesla selling price is a result of me looking at and pricing the available CPO deals in the past week.
