Have CrossClimates on our Model 3. I will attest that they are not great for efficiency. Pretty solid on occasional snow/ice though. Also, they are directional tires so you may lose just a bit of life by not being able to rotate them thoroughly.

Digging up an old thread, but has anyone seen any safety wins or losses on the third row in the Y? Thinking about putting my 4 year old back there in a booster in some situations when there are lots of other passengers in the vehicle.

Anyone else having "phone as key" issues again? Wife and I both have Pixels and both are very unreliable right now as a key. 2022 Y fwiw.

Onto my third windshield shortly. First replacement cost around 500 or 600 this one they are quoting me around 1400. That's insane and I'm glad I'm a shareholder at those prices. Minting money.

kW or kWh? Two very different things especially in this context. Last I knew the Sioux City, Iowa SC charged by the kWh.

Do they make low rolling resistance (LRR) tires for trailers? I know most of the energy is spent overcoming air drag but they keep putting these big knotty tires on trailers like everyone wants to go offroading and I know those can't help our limited EV range. Thoughts?

Another data point regarding my prior post: Our 2022 Model Y with the same exact FSD Beta software did not have any phantom braking on similar stretches of road yesterday, both in daylight and at night. Literally zero. I've often wondered whether the extra 8 or so inches that the Y has in camera...

Yep, exactly. The technology can't be that expensive, at least compared to the price of the rest of the station. Think how many they have to have in some of these huge parking garages.

Useful if they eventually start telling you in the vehicle which stall to go to.

Anyone else think they should have a sensor on each bollard that can tell if something is parked there (like they do in some parking garages)? I feel like that might be useful.

But most of them have seen people with bike racks on their hitches. Many of the spots that are easier for trailers are obviously also easier for hitch racks. I also agree with the earlier poster that thinks if all other spots are open they should probably try to leave those spots open for people...

In in same boat as OP on all counts and now FSD yet pushed to my X.

I just contacted service about no FSD yet for me. I was one of the first to have a camera update on my 2017, but still nothing.

Slightly off topic, but IMO very related to climate change: I'm not sure I agree with Elon's logic of needing to keep increasing the population. I realize that if all people stopped having kids tomorrow we'd be screwed from a society standpoint (but better from a climate standpoint), but...

2017 X. 100 safety score. Camera upgrade done. MCU upgrade done. FSD paid for. No FSD.

My parents had their hold set to end on Dec 18th. At that point it said delivery window is Jan 4-Feb 1. Hasn't changed as of now.

Seems like most modern trailers have the ability to just use the 12V from the vehicle in the absence of the 12V battery. Yes, a small coach battery is nice to have, but the 40lbs right on the tongue isn't necessarily worth it in terms of utility. So in other words, the Tesla becomes the giant...

Ironic, that a Camry is what a lot of people say a Model 3 is comparable to in TCO.

Just got it as a new 99. Weather was horrible for a first run. Dark, freezing drizzle, and some snow on the roads. Will try again tomorrow. Largely impressed with the conditions it had to deal with though.

Depends on when the build was in 2017. I believe the cutoff date is October or November. I have a 2017X as well and am getting the free camera upgrade here in another week or two.
