Thank you. I struggled with giving up my new 21” Arachnids as there was a 13% hit in range for my 75D. The 21” BBS CHR are stunning but you will give up some range and ride quality. Sure the 19” don’t look as nice but I couldn’t be happier with the 19” ride comfort and range efficiency.

Wheels are about 5lbs lighter than slipstreams although being 1/2” wider. I was going to remove the stainless curb ring but the look is growing on me.

Finally got my wheels installed. Black lug covers to follow.

I wouldn’t characterize the model S as having horrible stopping distance - that’s being a little dramatic ;-)

Ride quality is relative - although I agree with you that the 19” are significantly better - Tesla still rides pretty nice considering they are 21” - my neighbors who rode with me in a 21” equipped S thought the ride was pretty smooth and i was being picky...

Found the detailed spec from Michelin on the primacy 3 - 25 lbs the Pilot sport 3 “to” is 27.5lbs for comparison. The specific part number for the Primacy 3 is 09457 - still not available.

Thanks - Which specific Primacy version are you referring to? The Primacy 3 has launched an new version is 2017. The Primacy 3 ST is also new but only in Australia? Also I fould the Euro label for the Goodyear Eagle Touring which are rated a “c” for fuel economy.

I did see the ST mentioned but I don’t believe it’s available in Canada or United States. What country are you in?

Well I ordered a set of satin black 19x8.5” et32 that are on the way here from Germany. So these are only .5” wider than the OEM 19” wheels however the outer lip will extend 14mm. I also found this info showing the different profiles based on width. Sadly the 8.5” have tge flattest profile.

I actually noticed on my Tesla App in the my rewards section that they were at the service center. Weeks later I recieved the email. I think it was about 4-5 weeks from selecting the SC. Seems the reward program responses are in batches and seem to be behind.

Very slick. I thought all original Tesla wheels are simply painted - not powdercoated. Do you know which powdercoat supplier is used ? I.e. Prismantic Powders? Do you know the name of the colour?

Haven’t had issues however most jobs just paint everything including that spring clip and pins at the top of the caliper - if you mask this area off I can’t see them having an issue.

Has any more information surfaced on these new rear calipers? Are there any disassembly instructions? It looks like the “Tesla” cover (made to mimic a 4 piston caliper) may be able to be removed for painting ( rather than painting the cast bits). Look forward to your reply!

Not sure if rotor sizes but all current P cars have the same set up as past. Alloy brembo front and rear calipers with a separate rear parking brake.
