The SAS is overwhelmed on a fast bumpy 2 lane road where I guess traditional coils would be better and the usual Tesla complaints but he admits he's impressed.

Congrats on the 100D! I’d be interested in option 3 as well but have no idea the cost associated with this. I think Unplugged Performance may be working on something for Model S.

Yes, they are compatible with the S 60kWh cars. Exchanged emails with T Sportline. Jon at T Sportline said "D springs are a totally different setup and weight distribution."

I'd rather not speculate. Only #TSportline can confirm so maybe they'll respond here. Otherwise I'd give them a call (866) 991-4776 to check.

I've heard installation cost as low as $250 from one TMC member but I suspect this isn't realistic for most. I'd call local shops for quotes. Don't know about warranty other than I guess it's possible Tesla may not cover a strut failure should one occur.

Sounds like you made your decision but if the $6k plus the tax on $107k doesn’t sting too much then I’d get what floats your boat. I find smart air more comfortable for highway stretches so that could also be a bonus.

I’ve checked with Bilstein, Eibach, H&R, Koni, KW, Ohlins, Tein...you name it, and can’t find anyone making coilovers for Tesla. Frustrating.

I’ve priced my P85 with several insurance companies but at the end of the day State Farm is within a couple hundred a year of the cheapest option for me since I bundle the auto with my home, umbrella, and earthquake. If it were just Auto as a stand-alone State Farm was much more expensive.
