As an update, I was finally able to get a set of covers on ebay and they actually work great. I only needed one, so if anyone is missing a cover on passenger side let me know?

I've been told that technically speaking the trade-in is only for the car, so you don't have to hand over the charger, adapter, floor mats, etc. I'm definitely not including mine.

If we were talking a 2014, I'd say upgrade... But a 2021? Sell it privately or just trade-in. That gamble isn't worth the risk IMO.

I'll be tinting the windshield and front windows to legal limits and doing PPF on the front bumper, hood, and rear doors. I *really* want to wrap the car, but we'll see.. Going to live with it white for a while first.

@dipper The packaging is pretty robust and the bottle well protected. If there are any bottles that arrive broken on delivery, the shipping company must’ve really screwed up. Worst case scenario, it’s much easier to dispute a $250 bottle of booze through Amex than a $150K car or $30K solar system.

With a moving blanket you should be fine. Just make sure you tie it down intelligently as to not damage trim, paint, etc.

It's not a question of need, but want. I'm sure Roadster will be daily driver for plenty of people, but it's ultimately still a toy and that's okay! Not everything has to be multi-purpose and totally functional to serve every need possible. Sometimes the smiles created is enough.

You could always try to take your mobile connector with an extension cord and hit the button to see if the chargeport door opens.. If it does, you're golden. If it doesn't, your neighbor is basically SOL and will need mobile service.

Without having more info I’d suspect it’s the 12v. Bad/dead 12v batteries can cause all sorts of funky errors, so try not to stress too much about it and get yourself a service appt scheduled ASAP.
