Does your vehicle still say Long range or long range plus under the software tab? I heard after a software update in march 2020, long range vehicles are also showing as long range plus under the software tab in the settings.

So are these showroom models from Tesla?Thats the only way you are still eligible for the 7500$ tax credit. But I think 92.3k is still high price for a 100D with around 20k miles
Your radar detector would not set off from your own car's radar but other car's radar can set it off depending on the radar detector's filtering capacity. You may have issues with your 2013 MS windshield metallic coating- check from other owners.
I was one of the lucky ones when Tesla told that they would match vroom offer for my 90D Tesla trade in(which was 6500$ more than Tesla's offer)!. I have never heard of Tesla matching any other offer for Tesla trade ins, but somehow I got lucky.
Shallow depth of discharge is not bad at all. So you should be good. My recommendation in your case is to charge to 70 or 80% daily, instead of 90%. Charging to 70% is better than 80% charging which is better than 90%. But the differences are very minimal if any.
Any reason you would prefer the constant 12V in the microphone grill rather than the switched 12V from the rearview mirror? Switched power source is better for radar detectors. The power source to rearview mirror appears to have nothing to do with autopilot cameras(I believe the power is only...
@whitex Looks like folks have used the port in microphone grill for mainly dashcam. I believe it provides constant power but I want the radar detector to turn off when the vehicle is parked.
Recently I wanted to hardwire my radar detector to the rearview mirror in my 2017 Tesla Model S . But I could not find any decent pictures or description on how to DIY(Most descriptions were for dashcam which require constant power unlike radar detector). I have no experience with car...

Search tesla related forums and some have looked into the changes with range mode. Do you trust them or not is upto you. I personally use range mode on very short trips in cold weather(do not want the battery heater to waste energy) or when I am running out of juice.
Battery temperature is maintained by a heater and also by coolant fluid from drivetrain. The purpose of range mode obviously is to consume less energy and thereby increase range. When Range mode is On- the battery heater does not use a lot of energy to heat the battery . But still the battery...
You decide whats more important to you- looks or cost. 0.20$/W extra for sleek panels is not unreasonable. I did not opt for looks and got a 7.98kw system at 2.53$/W at Illinois in dec 2017
Which rearview mirror radar detector mount works best on 2017 Model S? Blendmount has none that would fit 2017 Model S. Tried Radarmount but not a good fit.
