My plaid X charges to 300 miles (90%) every day just like every other Tesla I've owned. I've never experienced any more or less battery degradation than anyone else.

I'd recommend waiting until you have a VIN and a firm delivery date. Financing only takes a day or two.

There was some news awhile back that the 20 inch wheels for the X were being delayed. Not sure if that's still the case or not.

I'm fairly certain we'll be asked to change our orders in the coming weeks. I'm waiting to see if they try to force the $5500 (for the 22 inch wheels) + $6500 (5-seat -> 6-seat) on to my configuration before I cancel. I know I can't justify paying $12k more for a configuration I don't want.

I'm not sure that anyone has received the 10.3 update yet. I have 10.2 and have not yet received it. If you didn't get it yet, don't despair.

Well, autopilot is technically still "Beta" and FSD is just autopilot that does more stuff. I think it would make sense to click "ok" to a few more warnings, but you still are required to hold the steering wheel and pay (probably more) attention at all times.

I just had my windshield replaced a few months ago by Tesla. I have StateFarm and they said their policy is to use aftermarket glass, but they couldn't find anyone who makes aftermarket glass for the Model S, so they paid the $1400 Tesla charged to replace my windshield.

Last year they were replacing screens. They now have a tool that properly sets the adhesive so the yellow won't come back.

Autopilot doesn't actually need the lines to navigate. There are a few roads in my area where the lines go away and autopilot continues to navigate just fine. I think the fact that it won't engage without lines is just for safety. Can't argue with your other points though.

It's been getting down to the 40's (F) up here in PA at night and if I drive to work in the morning without preconditioning, I have reduced regen and increased energy usage, double whammy. So, even in above zero temps it can be helpful. I don't blame you for not noticing this in your location...

I had this happen a few times after updates. When you reboot the MCU, it can sometimes take 10-15min for the LTE service to be restored. If this isn't the case, perhaps try the wheels and brake pedal when you reboot? (full reboot)

Man, talk about a misleading title for a post... If you have the app set up, it can be configured to send you notifications when your car is close to being done and completely done supercharging.

There are too many expensive things that could go wrong on these cars to risk invalidating your warranty with an aftermarket receiver/wiring. If you need to tow and value your warranty, get a model X or a truck as a second vehicle.
