one other thing i noticed w/r/t lag was driving in reverse. On the rwd, reverse felt like had same or similar lag. On the AWD, reverse is instant. Granted I don’t floor it in reverse but I notice more “instant torque” in reverse than I do in drive.

It might a a minuscule quicker 0-30 but it has that same brief lag off the line that the rwd has. At speed the AWD definitely accelerates faster than the rwd. The 30-60 is where I really felt the difference between the two. The post right above this one with the dragy times seems consistent...

Having owned both an RWD and AWD nonP I agree that off the line they feel the same, that ever so slight lag. No technical measurement just my opinion. Never driven a P to compare. Have driven an S and don’t recall that slight lag on that.

I think what makes the M3 unique though is the single button that sits right on the hand grip making it quite a bit more prone to open. Typically on other cars you may have an actual lever to pull that is on the door not in in the arm rest.

I believe the configurator has had that all along (hard coded). I believe you should trust your Delivery Estimator as those appear to vary by your reservation time.

I believe it is possible, but can’t say for sure, these were early reservations but the owner status recently changed.

It appears was the cutoff was around 2/7-2/14. S/X owners reserving after that date not seeming to get the rapid invite that the reservations before that date received.
