Used Tesla Model S Prices Show Signs of Weakness

Can vouch for this. Been trying to sell my 2014 Original 60 for $38k and haven’t gotten a single hit. They used to last less than a week (been watching the prices here on TMC for a while) at that price.

    Bubble on instrument cluster

Wow. Common problem. Would be nice if they would issue a advisory, then. Saw one in mine that just started. Fortunately still have 5,000 miles left on the warranty.

2012-2016 Nose Cone $200 (no parking sensor bracket)

Bought this to replace the one previous owner(s) used for target practice (mine currently has a lot of license plate bracket holes.) Found out after I received it there were no Parking sensor brackets/holes. Dummy me. So if you’re in need of a nose cone and don’t have parking sensors, this may...

Supercharger - Jacksonville, FL - Gate Parkway

Guess what I should have said was that they look ready for the next step. I’ve followed progress on several SC installs and know from this point it could take several more weeks to finalize construction, inspections and energizing.

    HDMI interface to the touchscreen

I would like to add my vote to the $500 is way overpriced column. ;) I can see $150 but that would still be barely compelling. $99 and I’m there.

    George Hotz's ‘comma one’ cancelled

I had a chance to drive a fully enabled AP2 100D Loaner () for a couple of weeks. If I had a choice of only one feature it would DEFINITELY be adaptive cruise control.

    George Hotz's ‘comma one’ cancelled

It was just “Autosteer,” not all of the Autopilot functions. Adaptive cruise control, for instance, does not work. Yet.

George Hotz and comma.ai - open source project - progress updates?

Tesla Model S without Autopilot upgraded with comma.ai OpenPilot solution I watched the videos.. not daunting for the shade tree DIYer. My concern is if the PS inputs suddenly go crazy, who will take the hit? Tesla? Comma, AI? Me (well, literally, yes...)

    Upcoming "fix all" firmware 2018.20

@ucmndd not sensitive at all. Just curious about why @Naonak would down rate. Did they not like the software? Upset they didn’t get it? For that matter why did you down rate? It’s no less public than the public down rate you two voted. ‍

    2014 model S slowly dying.....

I JUST had mine replaced but due to spontaneous rebooting. Fortunately I was still able to charge. +1 to MP3Mike... I've heard a dead/dying MCU will prevent the main battery from charging.

    MCU Hardware Revisons

Funny story. My MCU (2014 Model S) was spontaneously rebooting about once an hour. The service center replaced. When I got in I noticed it now read LTE for the cellular service. An unexpected (welcome) surprise. When I went through the invoice it said 1458829-00-B (revision B?) was installed. I...
