I have a similar situation in my garage and am doubtful about the sensors as well. My solution? I always back in (front facing outside). Haven’t had a problem when parking like this. It’s also much easier getting out.

That’s unfortunate...Hopefully we get this 360 degree surround view feature with the right angle/location in the q3 update that’s scheduled to happen this year. Fingers crossed.

If Sentry Mode gives a 360 view of the car, I wonder if TESLA will enable the 360 view while parking (i.e. Birdseye view) like many other cars, including non-luxury cars, have these days.

Maybe when Autopilot HW 3.0 comes out, they would add the necessary camera/angle for the birds eye view camera system?

+10000 for Bird’s eye view of the car!!! Unbelievable that a $100k+ car doesn’t have this. Also armrests for 2nd row captains chairs and fold flat feature would be a very welcome addition.

I don’t think that’s signature red...

And still at $100k+, these cars don’t have the 360 panoramic birds eye view for parking..... And I know a lot of you are going to say that, “it can park itself, you don’t need that feature,” but there will be times more often than not, where you will manually want/have to park the car yourself...
