Model S Data Plan
I need to move to a new cel phone / data plan. I assume that at some point, I will want a plan that works best with my S. Does anyone have any information when Tesla will announce their data plans? Any suggestions? Bet on AT&T being most compatible?
I have noticed loud climate control fan when set on automatic with significantly different temperature set points on driver and passenger side. "Climate control fighting itself?"
My VIN0821 has not been delivered, nor do I have a non-expired delivery window. Frustrating, YES! Worthy of slamming Tesla or expecting special treatment, not so much.
strider - My point exactly. Just trying to get some people to recognize that the S is a remarkably nimble car for it's size. I even expect that the already good skid pad numbers will improve as tires and driving technique are tweaked.
I would expect quicker steering response (better turn-in) with the 21" wheels. I would also expect the "normal" ride to be what some would call "harsher" but which some of us would prefer and describe as more "precise" or "sportcar like".
ckessel - I think you are forgetting that a "normal" car frequently reduces speed by "coasting down". That is, it uses air friction braking which puts no additional wear on the tires.
Be careful about assuming that upgrading to a larger battery will be possible let alone simple. Don't forget about reasonbly sophisticated battery management and cooling.
I, too, prefer the unobstructed space between the front seats. For those wanting something else, and there are numerous logical possibilities, it seems to me that aftermarket vendors should be able to come up with great solutions very quickly.
