You can only disable smart summon from within the car using the touchscreen. It’s not possible to do it remotely.

Switch off Smart Summon if it’s enabled

Check in Autopilot settings if Summon Standby is enabled. If so, it drains the battery at a horrendous rate when the car is parked away from its home location. The feature is enabled by default. Horrible feature, my phantom drain when parked away from home disappeared once I disabled it.

I wouldn’t be so sure. The wording says that it has full self driving capability, not that the FSD option has been paid for and is actually activated. If the FSD option isn’t active, the upgrade won’t be free.

I disabled mobile access - will see if that fixes it and report back on this thread. Next step is to disable the alarm. Beyond that I guess it’s just a question of waiting to see if it’s a bug they fix in a future update as pretty much everything else is disabled now that could be causing it.

Same issue for me since 2020.20.12. 2018 X AP HW3 and MCU2 Car isn’t going to sleep. Disabled Sentry, removed USB stick, rebooted car with brake pedal and scroll wheels. Losing about 5% per day when car hasn’t even moved.

$45k trade in for a 2016 75D sounds very fair to me given how much a brand new LR costs these days. Continual price cuts by Tesla does nothing for residuals and on top of that don’t think the smaller battery versions are going to be all that popular when it comes to resale.
