Hey there. I have 1500 in gift cards that expires in a couple of days. Any recommendations on what to purchase for my Tesla MS in the Tesla Store. I wanted the car racks but they are sold out, was trying to hold out but no go. Thanks.

They said it would not cost me anything. They remove the ppf. However they don’t replace it. That would be my obligation.

You can message them in the app, and upload photos. You have unto 100miles to report any defects, you could also call them and report.

How do you look for this, crawl under the car?

I was told if you purchased the FSD after you buy the car, it does to reflect with your DMV registration, or affect your taxes.

How do you like the 19" wheels with the aero covers off? Have you noticed lower range with the caps off too. I also like the T sport line selection, and was curious about 20" but really don't know if you need adjustments.

I agree with @mikeeus and@ joey above about the differences. Remember, if you refer to yourself and have the loyalty credits, you will also have an opportunity to try the FSD to determine the value to you. Furthermore, purchasing after you buy may be financially advantageous as you do not pay...

I had the same on my 2023 (that is going back to Tesla soon.). I was told that it is normal and related to the power running the display? However, I drove a MX without this noise too. Also the MX did not have the high pitched humming from the motors, and it was the MX plaid.

Silly question - is the Plaid much different from the LR S 2023? Is there addditional differences? Planning to test drive a Tesla MS with 21 inch tires and 19 inch.

No unfortunately. The new cars from 2021 on have their own type of key fob that can be purchased from Tesla.

The collision center reported back. They shared that the left quarter panel is within specs, and there is nothing to be don with that piece. They would have to do the adjustment to the tailgate, and completely remove it, remove the glass to reach all of the adjustments. About 1/2 day work...

I can not tell if it is exactly the same, however if the gap its not flush with the left quarter panel it is the same! Hard to see all perspectives in the photo. Evidently, my Tesla SC was unable to fix this, and hence sent to a body shop. Keep us posted!

I have a new Tesla, and the lift gate is misaligned due to some defect in stamping the rear panel or something like that. Tesla is talking about repairing through a collision center and curious if anyone has dealt with an issue like this before?

San Diego $75. I would call Tesla and they can assist in programming. Depends on the model year, as you may have to go to service, or can do remotely.

I was informed by our salesperson and the tint person that this car has no tint. The roof I believe does, and would not tint, it has much greater transparancy then the prior MS's (new for 2023) and therefore may be brighter inside with white interior, and hence the 'fish bowl' concern...

I agree about that, wish they would have let us trtt the FSD LATER - they would have the opportunity to use our data too.

How does the MS long range compare to the 2020 long range plus - any thoughts, experience. Comparing the two and debating if worth the extra 24-28K for a new Tesla MS.

I think you would have to redo your order, as stated below. It is interesting, as the first sales person, and manager did not tell me this offer, it was after several discussions,and when walking outside with a sales guy he shared this opportunity. The loot points are good too!
