Yes phantom braking got worse for me with the 8.5 update. Also a little jerky when the car in front of me changes out of my lane and my car starts to accelerate.

Elon said prices would go back to normal. Normal was $5k if FSD was purchased after delivery for those with EAP.

Did you get the RB rotors? One thing I would like to know is if the rotor hats are thicker than OEM PUP rotors and do they eliminate the step in the hub? That is one of MPP’s selling points for their rotor upgrades for the PUP brakes.

Thanks for the pics. I think I like the 18 aero covers better now. The large silver plastic area on these make them look more like normal hub caps. Would be nicer all matte gunmetal imo.

Same here. I have a P3 that gets around 250miles range with my driving style. It’s easier for me to multiply the % energy by 2.5 mi/% vs multiplying the miles by .8

Looking forward to the end of next quarter just before the tax credit gets cut in half again. I wonder what the price cuts will be like then.

What value are these checks you are all getting and does it match you sales tax rate on $5k?

What I meant was yes they aren’t increasing the 310 mi rated range for the AWD/P models, but it doesn’t eliminate the possibility that they could still open up some capacity so that it increases the actual range. Would be nice for the actual range of my 3P ~250mi to get closer to the rated range...

I’m hoping they truly unlock a little capacity and that it’s not just a software recalculation of range. Then they should do it on all LR cars, including dual motor/P3 so that dual motor versions can actually get closer to an actual 310 mi range.

I updated my app 2 days ago and I’ve noticed a much quicker connection to my car over the past 2 days. Car is still on 2018.50.06.

I imagine a higher peak current can be drawn from the battery when driving than the amount of peak current returned during regen. On cold mornings I get the limited regen alert, but no indication of limited driving power.

I’m in SoCal and the auto wipers have been terrible the past two weeks. They either don’t turn on when it rains or they are very slow to turn on. The speed doesn’t match the amount of rain either. On some cold mornings, the wipers turn on even though the windshield is clear.

I doubt SCE will use your charger as the TOU meter because it is dependent on your broadband and WiFi. They need to have direct access to the meter data. There could be other reasons why they wouldn’t accept this such as meter accuracy requirements, inaccessibility if installed in the garage, etc.

After 4 months, I supercharged 145 kWh. Most of this was done when I was still getting it for free. I’m on track for 435 kWh of supercharging per year. Even at $1 per kWh, it would take me over 10 years to make keeping free supercharging worth it vs the $5k.

321wh/mi here on the 20’s. Once my tires are worn down, I’m hoping to find a wheel/tire combo that might help me get down to 280 wh/mi without changing driving habits.

Wow! I was also quoted 4-8 weeks on 12/5 and my check arrived today. I can't believe: (a) the refund is legitimate (b) it arrived in calendar year 2018 (c) it arrived much faster than quoted (d) I got a P3+ for $5k less than I was willing and committed to paying (e) how much I love this car

Wow that’s a good drop in Wh/mi. I’m also at 320 Wh/mi with the OEM 20” setup and I would be happy getting down to 280 Wh/mi.

I’m sure they will fix this, I just prefer not dealing with scheduling an appointment and going to a service center to get this fixed. We’ll see. My EAP appeared to have been stuck on day 0 for the past two days, but it finally ended this morning. My EAP no longer works.

I used to charge to only 80% daily until I saw MPP’s dyno results at different SOCs for the LR. It looks like there is a drop of ~6HP between 90% SOC and 75% SOC, but a larger drop of ~18HP between 75% SOC and 60% SOC...

You have to purchase and install the charger. You only get rebated for the purchase price of the charger up to $500.
