Agreed - Peoples Energy said they couldn't take readings from smart meters as they are not setup to do so and it would be costly to change, but they would continue to look at possibility of taking reading themselves in future.

Ok, I’ve been considering forking out the extorniate price for a Chademo adapter to give me more charging opportunities during long distance travelling. Reason being that the places that I mostly travel long distances to don’t have nearby SC on route and there seems to be more Chademo chargers...

I found DL quite expensive (£790) my best quote came from LV through a compare site..£440 protected no claims + 2nd driver, £250 vol excess. I’ve also got 2 previous claims in the last 5yrs so was quite impressed.
