Let me know if this works.... The smell has come back for me. I might try this but it's basically what I did... Even sprayed closer. The problem is you can see what you're spraying... You may just be spraying just the corner of the evaporator for all you know.

It is a hardware limitation on the S and X.....this is why they only allow you to vent the windows but not close them like the 3 or y. Who knows why this is the case....you think they would have made the change by now.

Don't you think leaving your kids in the car with windows open is a problem in itself? Maybe you know....don't do that.

Yeah that's correct. The sensor just twists and pulls out. I pushed the tube in... You don't have to push much of it in since the evaporator is right there.

Not to revive an old post but I finally tried this on the seats...is there any way to keep the lighting on during driving? I used a 12V inverter connected directly to the lights under the seats. They only turn on when the car is in park.

Well that sucks...it's a brand new M3P.....the temperature in my car are getting up around 140F so I realize that's a lot and something you wouldn't normally encounter but it does just sit outside. Again this sucks if that's what they told you and I don't want them tearing up my car if the same...

Hey guys....I have this rattling noise coming from the passenger side of my vent but only when it's pointed up. It seems to be related to how hot the inside of the car is when I turn it on. When I point the vent down it goes away for the most part. Anyone having a similar issue? Thanks!

Yeah I have done this as well.....so were you thinking of just spraying lysol where the HEPA filter connection is on the back?

That's what I thought of doing but where do you spray the lysol? Not easy to tell.

That'd be great thanks!...I have not issues tackling this myself....only thing I don't know is where the condenser is to spray the solution.

I see there are a lot of threads on how to fix this issue with the model 3 but I'm not having any luck with the model X. I just changed the cabin filter and I run the AC with circulation OFF but I still have this bad smell when I first turn on the ac. Anyone have this issue and a remedy for it...

I have a squeaking noise coming somewhere from the driver door or the A pillar and it's driving me insane. Mobile service came by and they couldn't find it....asked me to take it to the service center. I'd rather just fix it myself since the SC is far away for me. The noise starts at around 12...

Not the best photo but you can see the top has a yellow band around it. The center screen usually gets it worse.

I just got a minor curb rash today and I'm looking to see if there a good color match to touch it up. I have heard of the Dupli-Color Pen for Ford vehicles but I'm not sure if that's a good match for the performance wheels. Can anyone confirm if they have done this? Thanks!!

Isn't this technically a software update? Why would they not charge for the previous 5% increase in power but charge for it this time? Doesn't make much sense although I get it. They just have set a precedent in the past that's now changing.
