Well, I've been tracking my car on UR for the past 6 days, and today it finally made it to Pond Springs! My wife went by shortly after because we were hoping to take it on a road trip this weekend, and they offered her a delivery at 6PM tomorrow! So that's exciting and not what I expected!

Similar to @patoirish 's question, has anyone used ProReflection Austin Auto Detail for anything, and can provide a positive review? Evaluating them for PPF and ceramic coating.

You're right that it doesn't protect it in the same way that PPF does from things like rock chips, but it does help protect against swirls and other things that can scar/stain like bird paint. I plan to do PPF on the front, but I want to do a coating to protect the rest of it as well.

Yeah, Li-on batteries have a self-discharge rate so they'll still discharge even with nothing connected. I did some research though and although the intial month of discharge is steep (up to 20%), the following months are <10%. So theoretically they could last quite a while I guess!

For me, my ISA needed to see it listed on my policy so that he could start the registration process before delivery so I had to add it. Not sure if that's universal or something specific to my guy's process though.

Nice! I'm in Austin and ordered the same config on 7/1/2018. Just got the contract from my ISA early this week (Edit: After he contacted me and we waited 3 weeks in the freeze) and have a delivery scheduled for 8/28.

I don't think this works for all of us in Texas since we don't get a delivery date until after the contract and payment has been completed :(

I got an email back from him today saying that the contracts team was backed up right now and that's the source of the delay. Still not sure what that means with all the pressure he was putting to get it done so quickly, but at least I haven't lost contact completely!
