As long as it sticks around that area I'm good, thinking about it too much just gets annoying... If it means anything I contacted tesla and they started it's within normal range and can fluctuate at times d/t conditions (cold, hot, etc.)
Thanks for the info, didn't know 70% was the warranty point... Not really worried just seemed like allot, think I read somewhere that degradation should be 6% or less at this point
It's a 2018 model 3 long range with 19s. I suck at math, please help me out to check if this is normal
Battery is charged to 90% and has 253 miles.
Car has 36,599 miles
I suppose your right; it's just I think a flat tire is easier to take than a total failure of the car with little warning. To me it seems like a flat tire is something that can happen but a model 3 that's completely unresponsive feels like something that shouldn't happen
LOVE TESLA but it shakes me a little when I use the car for 1000+ mile road trips knowing that I could be stuck literally in death valley without any kind of major warning, I was hoping to use this post so people can say what to look out for/warning signs
This is after the fact...I actually went on the app and scheduled the pickup (faster than calling)...if I would've came on here I would've seen your advice and been on the phone for a hour ;)
Just wondering if I could gather stories of what happened with owners and what happened so that we could gain insight with this issue, I've been looking around the internet but wanted to condense stories here...
Personally had a warning the day before, I scheduled the service for 5 days from...
For the most part I think the people who are willing to upgrade were the early model 3 owners who regret not going for the performance version because of the price. I'm assuming it's a small percentage but I think Tesla releasing another power update for them goes along way of saying thank you...
I was talking about Tesla releasing another power upgrade, not sure what you mean by this. Personally I wouldn't let Electric garage do the upgrade; just for peace of mind for the future updates and warranty issues
This is all just extra pressure on Tesla to unleash power upgrades officially, its almost certain it's coming now; why have someone else profit from it when they can? GREAT job on finding this out EG but PERSONALLY it's just too risky if it isn't officially from Tesla
For me it was an adjustment to the way I drove the car...if anytime I need to make a adjustment I make sure that its clear and put on autopilot; in general the way you drive a tesla is not the same you drive any other car, so it takes some adjustments for sure.
I ordered my tesla 3 on july 1 2018 and they WOULD NOT MAKE an exception...
"If you ordered your car on or after July 1, 2018, you can purchase a Premium Connectivity subscription from your Tesla Account."
not to sound negative but don't waste your time because I did :)
