Off the phone with my IDA. Scheduled to arrive at MDR 8/24 in the 'system'. Unfortunately... it's been 'tomorrow' for the last 6 business days. (yes, I've spoken to him every morning)

I've spoken to 3 reps at MDR. All have told me it's not on site, and they don't know where it is.

I'm seriously starting to consider that they lost my car. Multiple reps have told me it's left Fremont. Multiple reps have told me it's not in Burbank/MDR... There's a 10-12 day gap now between these 2 conflicting statements. It's what? 5.5 hours according to google between the 2 via the speed...

You're not alone at least. My car supposedly left Fremont 12 days ago. Somehow (according to multiple reps) it's 'still in transit'. Fremont to Burbank/MDR is what? 5 hours? I called the generic sales number and the rep supposedly IM'd my IDA for info. Was told my car majorly 'failed...

I tried this. Once. Guy wouldn't give my VIN without reaching out to my IDA for approval to give it. Apparently that's on the instructions now. Felt like an ass to say the least ;P

Same here, and pretty common. When they changed the inspection processa week or two ago... they stopped giving out VIN's until inspection was completed and delivery is scheduled. Your account page 'process' shows this as well. Sucks.

Not sure what's going on. 8/10 Loan Approved/Call 8/17 Called generic sales today in hopes of a VIN for ins. Was told car 'majorly failed' inspection. No delivery date, no idea where VIN assigned (but never disclosed) car is, or in what state. If they're going to remedy, assign new VIN, etc...

Ditto. My P3D+ order is twice the amount I've ever spent on a car. But I planned waaaay ahead and saved enough to put down over half in cash. So... it ends up in the same range as any of my previous decades auto purchases. I just pretend the cash doesn't exist in my head. ;P

That's why the sheet is driving me a little crazy watching it. We don't have reservation date (though the 'I have a reservation' data point is helpful none the less).
