Haha. I am OCD and that's exactly what I planned on doing. Read everything before charging and then read everything immediately after charging...and the breaker will be flipped when I do it. I will probably do this every 2 weeks and stretch out the time to every month. etc. if things look OK...

FYI I did buy a temperature gun and will monitor the temperature every few weeks. First time will be tomorrow right after I charge for about 3 hours. I’ll post if anything seems strange.

Thanks for the other thread links. Seems like a lot of people have the same issues. Seems most is with the gen 3 but also gen 1 and 2 as well. I was concerned that mine going out after two years of no issues would be unique, but apparently it’s not.

I'm testing the charging with my friend's MS right now to see if it's the car or the wall connector/charger. If it's the charger, I will open it up and check for loose connections before contacting the electrician. Thanks

UPDATE: This morning I started charging the M3 and monitored it via the app about every 3-5 minutes. It started out fine at 48 amps and 44-45 miles of range per hour. It dropped down to 24 amps at about the 55 minute mark. At that point, I looked at the display and there was a message...

OK. Got it. A thermal problem does make sense. I don't think it's a weather heat problem cuz it's not that hot here right now and it's been plenty hot many times before with no problem. Next time I have a chance to monitor the charging better, I will see if the wall connector or anything else...

I think it's the wall charger or electrical feed as well. What's perplexing to me is that it starts out at 48a and then eventually (after at least 20 minutes in both my cases tested), it drops down. And if I restart, it immediately goes back to 48a.
