The email I got last week said checks start to be mailed out this week soooo we’re waiting. I was told that I can expect a check within 14 days. End of next week, if I do not get a check, I’ll start emailing them again.

Not popping any champagne until I have a check in hand but still, this is a good sign.

All these posts about having to wait another 8 weeks, Tesla delaying refunds, etc. I posted this yesterday but will repost again in case people missed it. Checks are starting to go out early next week. See the screenshot of an email I received yesterday.

Yes, correct, that being said I sent it both ways as well as replied to the initial email confirming my refund from 4 weeks ago. I am not sure what they responded to.

Well there you go folks. The checks are in the mail (almost) :). Got a new response from Tesla telling me that the refund has been processed and the checks will be mailed out starting in the beginning of next week.

Huh. Someone on the Model 3 fb oagr said they got a response from Tesla saying a check would be mailed within 8!! weeks. Wtf? My email from 4 weeks ago said within 4 weeks (no check yet of course). Now it’s 8 weeks from now...

The only way to attach Tesla fobs to keychains is with the sleeves. Tesla provides two for my Model S but I’m not sure about this one

I do have PUP but my initial email looked the same. I wrote back and insisted that I want the $5k refund and will give up supercharging if I have to to which they replied ok and let me know the check would be mailed within 4 weeks.

I submitted my request as soon as the tweet was posted, while I was in Phuket at an elephant sanctuary. Had to step away from the elephants :) Hopefully getting it in this early means I’m at the top of the list :) When I get the check I’ll report.
