I don't doubt that. I just prefer all weather mats in my daily driver. It's just easier to maintain. I'm getting custom carpeted mats for my RX7 though. I have a friend that prefers carpet mats and he lives in a snow/mountain climate.

The only downside to custom cuts is that they can potentially cut the paint when trimming the PPF but usually you wouldn't see it because if they edge wrap it then it wouldn't be seen or would be obscured by the PPF itself.

The 3dmaxpider logo is removable. I know some Type R owners that swapped theirs out for a type R badge. Maybe someone can 3d print one to replace the 3dmaxpider one...
