This is going to be a recurring problem I think. A few HOURS after someone notices a new thing to buy on TESLA store for the Model 3 and GONE! Out of Stock! I think that means that Model 3's are being delivered... ;-)

The X and S ARE being built on the same line. When we picked up our X at the Fremont factory, we got a tour including manufacturing line. Literally, about every 5th car was an X and there were both Left and Right-hand drive Model S's being built. Very impressive.

As a piece of Historic reference, I received my Sig Model S on 2 November 2012. At that time there were 5 SC stations with about 40 chargers TOTAL; and, all in Cali! Today, there are 609 SC Stations around the world with 3574 chargers! What a difference 3 and a half years make!!! I know...

it has always been the case that running completely out of juice was a very bad thing. I thought Tesla added functionality to protect the battery rather than bricking the car. I've not heard of AAA or any service being able to "emergency charge" the main batteries but that would be great news...

Might as well way in on this thread as I now have Hankook 21's on my Sig MS. I replaced my Continental's at ~18000 miles because a)it was clearly time due to wear and b)one of the local hoodlums in the bay area has been tossing bent razor's into streets and I found on which caused a slow leak...

You've probably gotten more feedback than you ever wanted; but, as you can tell by those who have their Model S, we love to talk about them. So, I have a Sig Perf and have to admit that the performance is a DRUG! And, not a bad one, it is a reassurance that I will never have to worry about...

@contaygious, I noticed the same and verified that regen goes to minus 60w almost immediately if you are at reasonable speed and stays there longer as you slow down. 4.1 did not do that. Not sure about 4.0 or before.

Another one for this thread. My Model S decided to not charge 2 nights ago...insert UMC and light stays WHITE. Tried 110 instead of my NEMA 14-50, nothing. Tried all the resetting suggested by 24-hour Tesla service! Gave up and went to bed expecting a call from Fremont Service Center at 9am...
