Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Average 2024 EPS estimates from analysts are $5.43. Any practical pathways you see for how we can get higher than that?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Anyone who dares questions the ultrabull narrative is labeled as a carebear, sadly. This is their method of simplifying the processing of information - just don't process anything that might be negative. You can imagine how this could turn out badly. For instance, has anyone tried to explain...

New S/X with HW4 not only don't have ultrasound sensors, but no autopilot / TACC. How long can this go on for? Is V11 coming this week, month, or?

Troy's latest estimates basically have production and deliveries flat in Q1 vs Q4. Tesla report EPS of $1.09 in Q4. That was boosted about $0.1 by FSD revenue recognition. With the massive price cuts w/o any increase in volume, this means ASP's will be trending down more heavily than any COGS...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I don't need to linearly extrapolate, the crossover already happened, I just need to know that there are less ships headed to Europe than in previous quarters. The non-linearity will be less than previous quarters. This is nice, but masks what actually happened in the opposite direction...

Not good for the "no demand" proclamations. Especially when Q4 was already not good for earnings. I fear the rapid earnings growth story might be over. From 100% YoY to 30% YoY earnings growth now perhaps? Don't get me wrong, 30% earnings growth with 50% unit growth is still much better than...

$7.5 EPS in 2023? Though I would love that to be the case, I think James' ridiculous hair has grown into his grey matter. No one cares about the past, it is the future trend of growth that matters. Right now 2023 is basically gonna be flat. I'm a bull, but only come to read what's going on...

You must mean Q1 2022 when EPS was $0.95. Q4 2021 EPS was $0.68 Yeah...aren't estimates for ASP now going under $50k? And COGs are higher (and Zach indicated they will stay higher this year). So yeah, earnings from automotive are going down. There isn't enough volume growth to cover that up...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Riddle me this: The CEO proclaims demand for Tesla vehicles is excellent, if not "unlimited". Then a few days later cuts prices both in Europe and USA. Meanwhile @Troy has been more accurate than everyone on this forum in his tracking of "demand issues" and indicates there are still demand...
