if you have HW4, don't use a USB hub in the glovebox, it will mess with your GPS and possibly damage your MCU. Ask me how I know :) several others on here experienced the same thing.

Same issue here on a brand new model y. Car has been in service for a week, they are replacing some part but won't tell me which part. Hopefully it's resolved soon.

Yes, this happened to me yesterday. I thought it was odd but now makes sense it was tied to that release. I had to hold down the window switch to get it back up.

if you drive it, just be prepared to manually jump it(a23 battery and a jumper) or have it towed because it could leave you stranded.

I graduated yesterday. Matrix/Ryzen/Hankook. An almost perfect car except for a scratch/crack on the passenger tail light. Beautiful car. The build quality inside and out is much better than my 2019 M3SR+. I am very happy. Hang tight folks, like others have said, its well worth it!

Same here, been in FL all my life. 3 years is about the average lifetime for my batteries. Making things worse is my car is black, so the heat soak must be really bad as its parked outside all day.

I think the FL heat is brutal on the 12v batteries. My last battery only lasted 8 months(not normal) and the original lasted less than 3 years. I think your weather in Washington helps a lot.

Sounds like your 12v battery died. Quick/Easy fix for your service center.

If the 12v battery is dead, the a23 12v batteries will open the frunk once connected to those wires. If that 12v battery still has juice, then yes, those batteries won't open the frunk unless its unlocked.

2nd time Tesla replaced my 12v battery in under 8months. I went ahead and ordered some a23 batteries and will tape them in the tow hook compartment and keep my portable jumper in the frunk.
