I had Sentry Mode on my Model 3 (5.15) for a while and had been using it for weeks. On my Model X, I just got the 8.3 update and tested it yesterday. I noticed there is a difference between the 2 cars. With Model 3, even if I have the phone (as key) with me, Sentry Mode will still trigger...

Please ignore my ignorance but I'm looking for some actual INSTRUCTIONS as to how set up the Sentry mode. Where does Tesla post instructions for new updates besides just a quick 1-page note on screen after update? Do I need to format thumb drive... where do I plug it in... how do I know that...

I have seen the news for sentry mode update in model 3 a few weeks ago, yet I still don’t have anything for my X. I wonder if anyone in the US received sentry mode OTA? I’m on the east coast btw.
