Has anyone had any contact with anyone from Reviver lately? Their online chat isn't working, support email isn't showing up and the original support specialist that helped me says their email is no longer active
Yeah, I have. They are coming in today for plate removal.
Contact Wallie, she's very good and answers questions fast

Thanks!
And plate removal? What are you getting done?
Majority of Tesla’s I see roaming around here in SoCal do not put on their front plates. It is more surprising seeing front plates on a Tesla than not having them. Cops are not going to pull you over for merely not having front plates. But why? California still requires a plate on the front so people will spend all this money just so they can have mismatched plates on the car? This super-expensive plate on the back and a regular plate on the front? Or buy two super-expensive plates + $55/month subscription for each?
No thanks.

I’m sure law enforcement is privy about these plates, particularly if you live in a big city, like San Francisco and Los Angeles. Now, if you’re in some little town, and have Barney Fife behind you, then sure, you may have a point. Cops rarely pull you over such little things here in LA. It is the same issue about people worrying about tints. Unless, you go full goofball, and get 5% tints, then you’re asking to get pulled over. I wouldn’t worry these type of digital plates.I hear you. But I'd guess putting one of these on the rear of your car is an invitation to get ticketed for not having a plate on the front. Because you know some police officers will have no idea what this is and pull you over for having a "fake" plate. Then you'll show them the letter from the DMV showing them it's legit but they be annoyed that they wasted their time and write you the ticket for not having a front plate.

It’s $55/year not /mo and I don’t keep a front plate on. If I’m forced to, I’ll probably get the sticker option. But why? Discount code: REVIVER
Price $199
Ends Jan 7, 2022
I've been researching this for a few hours after remembering that digital license plates exist in CA. For the price (currently $899) it wasn't even a consideration. But I found a post that makes it $199 using discount code "REVIVER" so I've pulled the plug. This is only for the battery powered (less expensive) version and only when you pay the full amount. So it actually ends up being $254 ($273.69 with tax) which includes the first year ($55) of the annual service. Note that when you apply the REVIVER code it displays as LOYALTY199 so if REVIVER doesn't work try that one as well.
If you're reading this after the discount offer ends Jan 7 2022, I also found another discount code offer from a video "PINKRIBBON" gives you something like 30% off.
I agree with everyone's opinions about this (good and bad) but for me--it's applying cool tech to a cool tech car and to this date, I've yet to see the Rplate on any vehicle on the road. It's definitely $200 cool... not $900 or $1000 for the wired version. No wonder they're not selling well... their price point is absurd (without a discount). Honestly, the price point should be $199 standard.
Their pricing history makes no sense whatsoever. They constantly fluctuate between spiking the price and cutting the price. I remember when it was $349 for the regular ("Essential" back then) and $499 for the Pro. And ~$700 for the Pro (the only model when it launched) in 2018.
$899 and $999 is just insane.
