2-year ownership experience with a now 5-year-old 2016 Tesla Model S 75D

Why is that? I thought the Model S warranty on battery and drive units was 8 years and unlimited miles until quite recently. When did it change?

according to Elon Musk himself: Infinite Mile Warranty did he retract that statement he made for/to shareholders at the time? I would use that in court if tesla refused to replace HV bat. or DU that was under 8years old but had more then 150k mi. He's only worth $300B how cheap can one be?
