2010 Roadster Test Drive with Paul Smicker

Is it common practice for almost any Tesla staff members to give test drives? I'm not being critical of Smicker in any way obviously but to have the manager of IT operations giving a test drive rather than a sales or PR rep seems a little out of place (for a lack of a better term).

In any case, new material is always appreciated.

That looks like the new Seattle store location. They had Tesla staff from California in Seattle for the opening this past weekend.

For events like that, yes. They normally go in shifts. Actually it's nice to see the IT guy getting some seat time since it's typically the sales people and the shop techs, and they get to drive the cars all the time anyway as part of the job.

I just saw this lol. Yes we were a much smaller company then but it's still all hands on deck today.
