Is there an option on this car that isn't listed? Looking at the Tesla website, this car would be $88,320 new (minus the $7500 tax credit). I'm in California, so a $2500 rebate makes this car $85,820 new. Just curious.

Sorry, I didn't include the rear seats. That means it should be $90,820 new.

I must have missed something in the listing to have it add up to $100k before incentives. The Tesla site shows this car as $90,820 after deducting $7500 in federal tax credit. Another $2500 off in CA makes this car $88,320 new. If I'm wrong I'd like to find out why. Just trying to get educated before I pull the trigger. I'm looking at used Tesla's as a way to save money, because I'm fine with being patient and waiting a few months if I can save money by buying new. I think some people read the reports about Tesla's going for more than new and took it seriously.

Agreed that some are fooling themselves with the prices they are asking on here. It was fun reading the responses to the guy asking for a $20,000 premium.

Yes vin is mid 15,000. The price new w tax and warranty 98,000 and change. Shipping is free. Car can be shipped Monday with 2 day delivery anywhere in US. Make an offer. This is a starting point. I don't want to be left with 4 Teslas here. I also have a 60 with the same config just black with tan interior and less $. So if that is of interest let me know. Gotta move one in 10 days. But not giving them

No Pinot, after 7500 rebate it is is still $91,020. PLUS THE 4000 warranty. Plus tax title and license. So I am shipping for FREE which is at least $750-1000 my price is very well in the ball park for same day availability. Come on guys n gals let's get the number straight! :) this is a good deal.

Have you looked into Tesla Motors Inventory car program? You can get a slightly used demo/loaner car for a pretty good deal -- you just have to wait/find a config you're happy with. Once your local TM showroom locates a car, you can get it within two weeks. That's how I got my P85+ with 8k miles for a great price.

This is not a deal. This used S85 should be no more than $83k plus shipping.
Good luck finding one for that price out there......not going to happen. Just saying....

Any more details about this? Miles/production date/Vin range. You're saying it has all the same options and extended warranty? Btw, it is extended warranty only, not service, right?
Vin is in the low 5000, the warranty is the 4000 $ package with ranger service that they offer.. Miles 11,000 ish

For yours:
$94,500 x 1.0625 sales tax = $100,406

New (with current prices):
$102,520 x 1.0625 sales tax = $108,927 - $7,500 = $101,427

Inventory Vehicle 7 months old, 8k miles, originally $108,000msrp
$108,000 x .93, then -$8,000 = $92,440 x 1.0625 = $98,217 - $7,500 = $90,717

So it looks like I would only save $1,000 vs. new if configured exactly the same way. About $10k more than a pretty loaded P85 from inventory that's newer with less miles. To sell in 10 days I'd think $80-85k is reasonable.

Thanks Massx1317 for number analysis. If inventory vehicle is at 90 k, private sale has to be at a lower price in view of inherent risks of buying from an individual. No one should pay more than 80k for it. Now you may always find an uninformed buyer.
