2014 S Charging Port Won't Open

Cheating port will only open from the inside screen. And I'm getting the attached pic on the screen. What does the RED circle mean?

Well, it doesn't look like my picture will load. But on the inside screen when you're looking at the vehicle screen, there's a red circle around where my charge port is.

It means some kind of error is present. Can you get into the hidden service menu? Here is my photo, is the visualisation similar like this, but in red?

Press the charging port door inward to pop it back open and release it. Car must be unlocked.

Similar, but in red, yes. I'm not sure how to access the hidden service menu.

Thank you for your help. I looked at the errors in Service mode. For whatever reason I can't post pics here....with PC or Mobile. So I can't show you what I'm seeing.

Here is short guide, it’s how the system is working on iOS (just took screenshots):

You will have a pop-up:

Select the place you have saved your files:

After you have clicked “Add” the photos/files will be available underneath your message. You can choose to click “Insert Thumbnail” or
“Insert Full Image”. I choose “Insert full image”.

And click on the red button on right corner to post it here.

Here are the 2 images. The red circle around port and all errors. Any thoughts? I can only open the port via touching that red circle. And on my dash it's stating my charge port is open always.

Why don't you try to press in on the port door manually, and it will pop out open. Then check to see if in the car it shows green open, and then shut the door from the outside of the car and see if everything is OK. There is a black button on the left side inside the charging port door that can be adjusted. Maybe you can see if it needs to be adjusted inward or outward by turning the little black button switch.

2014 does not have that adjustable button there, only newer one (like 2017) might have already. Mine 2016 does not.

I have tried to open the door manually. I haven't tried to pry it with anything, but I have pressed on the opposite side of it and it won't open. Should I try to wedge something in the side and open it manually?

I wouldn't try prying. If you pressed on the left side and it didn't pop out, you probably don't have the button, or it isn't working

My 2015 has the adjustable button.

Yours is change, isn’t? Mine looks like this and it’s not adjustable. Also changed to motorised version. To the OP, if you have no functions on the door then there might be malfunction on it. The door is separate unit, functioning together with the charge port. It usually should generate corresponding error too. If you know that you have manual door then there is no worries to pry it open. If you have any resistance on the door (motorised version) then you might damage that hinge part.
