Hey guys, I got a flat tire yesterday and was wondering how much a tire is for a p85d in general? I had it towed to a SC. Is that best place for it or should I shop around
Uhhmm, if you need to ask this question I would say yes, go to the dealer. Of course lower priced tires can be found, whether you have 21" or 19" rims, but can you trust every tire shop will know how to properly jack up your Tesla? But do you need a new tire? Or can it be repaired?
But if just online prices is what you want to know look at the sizes on your car and plug them into this popular online tire store
Thanks for the advice and quick repl . They're 19s and theres a hole in it so maybe can be fixed? Assuming the SC will kno . Just it's a new to me vehicle and hoping I made the right cal . Had it towed and the tow guy never towed a tesla so was confused how to even do it. Thankfully was a flat bed and ended up just driving it up
Just was curious what costs were for tires as i was imaging the worst haha. 200ish a tire isnt too bad
Step 1) Look at tire size, make and model on car
Step 2) Goto tirerack.com
Step 3) enter said tire size from car
Step 4) find matching size, make and model
Congrats you found the price of your tire.
I have been using the Michelin MXM4s that came on the car. They are a touring tire, so will not grip as well as a performance tire, but they are quiet and good for range. I may move to the Pilot A/S 3+ when these wear out.
