2015 vs 2016 Seat Connector

I'm swapping the driver side Next Gen seat on my 2015 P90DL with a donor from a 2016 90D due to some water damage. But i'm seeing that the yellow connector on my 2015 has one extra cable that the 2016 does not have. Anyone know what this cable is for?

Maybe Rich @Btr_ftw would know?

In a "standard" cable color coding scheme, that would likely indicate a ground, but manufacturers can pretty much color code however they like.

Put an ohm meter between it and ground and see if it checks out. Maybe it was a redundant ground on the older model that is handled by some other method in the newer model?
