2016.5 90D with AP or 2017 75 with Enhanced Hardware?

Looking at purchasing our first Tesla and could use some advice. The two options are pretty similar on mileage and pricing (when adding in cost for AP1 on the 2017). We live in Austin so all wheel drive not too necessary, but the added range certainly nice. Will be a daily driver for my wife, not many longer trips planned at the moment. Thank you in advance!
 
Only 2016.5 cars built after October 2016 have AP2 hardware. 2016.5 cars built between April 2016 and October 2016 still have AP1 hardware. Also, the 90kWh pack has a reputation for excessive degradation. So if all else equal, I'd get the 2017 car with the newer autopilot hardware.
