2017 TPMS vs 2018

Any difference between TPMS for 2018 vs 2017? Tire shop can programmer only shows up to 2017.

I am not sure of the difference from a technical perspective. I had a 2016 X and when I bought a set of new 22 inch turbine wheels I had to take to Tesla to get TPMS to sync. On my 2018 i swapped the same 22 inch wheels and they synced automatically without having to go to SC. I have bought a lot of aftermarket wheels and tires for multiple vehicles and they always synced automatically until the 2016 Model X. maybe the 2018 TPMS has changed.
