2018 AC compressor failure?

I got an odd sound on my ac compressor and now consistently is making a rattling sound when powering off.

Anyone else having issues or had to do AC compressor replacement?

I had the AC compressor fail on my 2018 Stealth Performance Model 3 in mid September. Sounded exactly like your video. August 2018 built car. Cost at the service center to replace the AC compressor and recharge the system was $987.20 (waived the diag fee as I poped the hood and demonstrated the noise so no charge to diagnose. To figure out where the noise was coming from for sure, I did pull the front lining and it was clear the electric AC compressor was the source of the noise. They had the part in stock and fixed it the next day in the morning. Quiet AC again.
