Far as I've heard with my 2015 I can't close the windows remotely because somehow it's a safety thing. Though I can't figure out how the windows wouldn't stop anyway, they don't seem that strong.
Curiously though, at least through Tessie I CAN still remotely close the sunroof...

Curious why they don’t have the windows especially when I do get a message saying I left a window open.
As I recall, safety issue. The windows do not have pinch sensors therefore going up would mean it would pinch or cause bodily harm. Tesla, nor many other car manufacturers don't like lawsuits.
