Who are the early access members and how do you become one?

It’s the group of owners and employees that tests software updates with new features. Requires an NDA so that’s why there’s not too much info that leaks out (other than the occasional YouTube video). The program is currently closed. I’ve been asking to join since 2013.

I don’t think there’s consensus, but my own opinion is no sooner than July 1st (Tesla doesn’t need any distractions during end of quarter) and no later than end of year. We’re probably a few months away from wide release.

I installed this update last night, car has been in SC getting overhead FWD sensor replaced and wanted to make a video demonstrating the Lock Confirmation Sound feature. Didn't think to demonstrate sounds on 1)passenger door opening 2)FWD opeing 3)trunk opening. Maybe i'll revise if enough interest.

I am in 2019.20.4.1 b612f97 now in the SF Bay Area on my July 2018 Model X 100D and there is now another software update being installed just this minute in the parking lot! Oh, no! what will this new update bring?

I got the 2019.20.4.2 update... and nothing that I can find has changed. Just the beach buggy game and perhaps updates on the google maps. I do have a choice of jumping directly into games from the control panel. I guess there are hidden behind the scenes updates
