A bunch of M3’s went to the track the other night to get some runs in. Didn’t know what to expect but ran much faster than I thought. These things will move! Lots of fun. What are the best times on here for the Performance? Here is a video of one of the runs. I’ll try to get some others videos on here from some other runs.

2020 M3 Performance 1/4 Mile Testing

Yes, they do quite well down the 1/4 mile. My best is 11.35@118mph on the stock 20in wheels.

Yes. It makes no discernible difference unless you change the front rear bias to be largely front or rear and then it makes it slower.
Yes I would like to see how the 2021 will run in the 1/4.
I’m sure we will see someone on here soon.
My 2018 Stealth Model 3 with light wheels only runs 7.4-7.43 at 95-93mph in the 1/8th
. I may have to upgrade to the 2021.

that’s sorta slow, mine is a 19 stealth and it can pull a 7.29 with all season tires on the street.

I'm on the Ghost Mod (Stage 2) converted LR AWD to P- and my fastest time is 11.33 @ 116.88 mph so far.
Ten days ago I took it out to the strip again and 4 of us all with Performance 3's ran against each other to see who would come out on top.
In this pic from left to right:
White stock P- on 18" aero's
Red P with a lot of custom mods, some weight reduction, CF bits and suspension upgrades on custom monoblock 20" wheels.
My blue Ghost (P-) with some weight reduction on 18" lightweight forged wheels
My friend Michael's red stock P- on 19" wheels
I took dashcam video of my final race against Michael but you couldn't even see his car because we were so close. Wish Tesla would show footage from B pillar camera to atleast get a nice side view. He was at 90% and I was at 92%. He beat me in reaction time by 0.0175s and won in the ET by 0.0021s (two thousands of a second). Closest race either of us have ever had.
All of us were in the 11.4x range through-out all of our runs. Temps were in the mid 60's.

I thought about heading up there recently but never actually did. Probably too late at this point...
Could still use an extra 200hp though. We need those 4680's to put down peak power 0-100mph instead of 0-45mph.

As long as it's over 40 degrees and not precipitating, they are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the rest of this month and into December.
Never enough power until you can spin all four the whole way down the 1/4. haha

Yep, just have to figure out when as it’s getting close to time for my winter tires/wheels.

I just put my winters on. They are 18in and a good be lighter than my OEM 20s. Car is probably quicker with the winter setup, lol
